Isometric Ericeira

The whole of Ericeira, from São Sebastião down to Foz do Lizandro, drawn as one big isometric picture. It's a homage to the city builders of the 1990s.

Every house comes from OpenStreetMap. Heights, hipped terracotta roofs and the hills under them (EU-DEM) were built into a 3D model and rendered from one fixed angle, 0.3 m per pixel. An image model then redrew that render tile by tile in flat cel-shaded colour, each tile continuing the style of its finished neighbours.

Houses are approximate: the roofs, storeys and colours are guessed where the map doesn't say. Spot something wrong? Fix it in OpenStreetMap and it'll show up in the next redraw.
