If you're looking for a proper night out in Ericeira, Tubo is where it happens. This is the town's primary nightlife venue - the place that stays open latest, plays music loudest, and has the dance floor that actually fills up.
DJs play on Friday and Saturday nights, with the music ranging from house to hip-hop to Portuguese funk depending on the night and the DJ. The sound system is decent and the dance floor, while not huge, gets packed enough to feel like a real club night.
The crowd is a good mix - local Portuguese, international surfers, digital nomads, and weekend visitors from Lisbon. It skews 20s-30s but there's no strict vibe; it's welcoming and unpretentious.
Things don't get going until late - this is Portugal, so showing up before midnight means you'll be drinking in a mostly empty room. The peak is 1am-3am. Pre-drink elsewhere (Adega or Bar do Fundo are good warm-up spots) and head to Tubo when you're ready to dance.
In summer, Tubo runs at full capacity with additional events, themed nights, and occasional live acts. In winter, it slows down to Friday/Saturday only and sometimes not even that - check locally.
Drinks are reasonably priced for a club setting. Cocktails are basic but fine. Beer and gin-tonic are the default orders.
