17th Ericeira Beach Rugby brings spectacle and fair play to Foz do Lizandro
The 17th Ericeira Beach Rugby tournament took place over two days at Foz do Lizandro. Hundreds of athletes of all ages competed on the sand, supported by spectators and marked by the fair play that defines the sport.
Ericeira Beach Rugby H3 Ericeira won the senior men’s title with Barbos 1, while Piranhas da Luz took the senior women’s crown and Direito won the under-18 women’s category. During the lunch break, Projecto BUG performed on the beach. A marriage proposal was made during the prize-giving ceremony.
