Achada: There is no party like this one
The Festas da Achada return this year on 31 July and 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8 and 9 August in honour of São João de Deus.
Academia do Bombo de Mafra opens the event on 31 July, followed by Nuno e Marina and DJ F. Silva. Os Vizinhos perform on 3 August and Diego Miranda plays a DJ set the next day. Several groups provide music for the nightly bailaricos de Verão, while Tributo Sai do Chão offers a tribute to Ivete Sangalo. Folkloric ranchos, a quermesse and food service complete the programme.
