Art and Stories in Municipal Libraries
Last weekend, the Municipal Libraries in Venda do Pinheiro and Ericeira hosted events focused on children's literature. In Venda do Pinheiro, the "Mala Mágica das Histórias" session presented the story O Ursinho do Coração by Frances Stickley and Lucy Fleming, engaging young children with themes of love and companionship.
In Ericeira, illustrator Rita Ponciano led the "Penso, logo ilustro" workshop for children aged 6 to 12. Participants explored visual expression by turning ideas into illustrations, highlighting the link between reading and artistic development.
