Beach Soccer returns to Praia da Foz do Lizandro
Beach soccer returns to Praia da Foz do Lizandro this week. The Portuguese and Ukrainian national teams are holding a training camp at the beach. On 6 May at 15:30 the final friendly match will be played at Carvoeira Beach Sports Arena.
From 6 to 10 May the Elite 2026 Championship takes place on the same beach. Grupo Desportivo União Ericeirense is among the teams. Matches will be broadcast on channel 11. Last weekend the Supertaça de Futebol de Praia was held, together with a Mafra Foot stage of the FPF Jogam Todos project and a beach clean-up organised by the Fundação da FPF.
