Ericeira: Far-right gathering met with protests from residents and activists [Images]

A European Patriots Academy meeting is taking place this weekend at Hotel Vila Galé Ericeira. The event brings together leaders and young activists from far-right parties across Europe, including Fidesz, FPÖ, Lega, Rassemblement National, Vox and Vlaams Belang.

Around 350 residents, both Portuguese and foreign, have organised peaceful protests against the gathering. The first demonstration was held yesterday evening outside the hotel, with another planned for today at 18:00.
