Ericeira hosts public session to prepare for summer
A public session took place at Casa de Cultura Jaime Lobo e Silva to coordinate preparations for the 2026 bathing season. The meeting aimed to align strategies among local entities and ensure safety, efficiency and quality on the municipality's beaches.
Hugo Moreira Luís, President of Câmara Municipal de Mafra, Catarina Patriarca of Agência Portuguesa do Ambiente and Marques Coelho, Captain of the Port of Cascais, presented their respective preparations. Municipal directors for environment, licensing, security and mobility also outlined tasks to be completed in advance. Representatives from security forces, the Maritime Authority, the municipality, parish councils, civil protection, municipal police, firefighters, business owners and public health attended.
