Healthy Family Snacks
The Municipality of Mafra and ULS Santa Maria have completed a series of workshops on healthy school snacks. The sessions formed part of the municipal project “Cresce Ativo e Saudável” and helped families improve their eating routines.
Four workshops were held in Ericeira, Mafra, Póvoa da Galega and Jardim do Cerco. Parents and children learned weekly planning strategies and how to prepare quick, balanced and nutritious snacks.
Strong attendance has reinforced the Municipality’s commitment to promoting healthy habits from childhood.
