The image of Senhora da Nazaré arrived in Mafra municipality on 17 September 2016 from São Pedro da Cadeira. The procession passed through Paz, where the symbolic handover of the “testemunho” from São Pedro da Cadeira to Ericeira took place in front of local residents. The image then continued to Ericeira, where it was welcomed with celebration and devotion.
