Izzy Lopez: 30 years making generations dance
Izzy Lopez marked 30 years as a DJ with a celebration at Breakpoint in Ericeira. The event brought together several generations who have followed his career since his first gig at Discoteca S.A. in Foz do Lizandro in June 1996.
Born in Lisbon and now based in Mafra, Lopez has performed across Portugal and abroad at venues including Hard Rock Café, Hard Club and Plateau. Recent highlights include sets at Palácio Nacional de Mafra in 2021 and Museu do Ar in 2024. He also played at the 120th anniversary of the Elétrico de Sintra and at popular festivals in Ericeira, Achada and Montelavar. Lopez continues with his projects AFRODYTE and Remember Old Nights.
