Mafra municipality celebrates the heroism and dedication of its firefighters
Mafra municipality held its annual Dia Municipal do Bombeiro ceremony at Terreiro D. João V to honour the three volunteer fire brigades serving the area. The event recognised the Bombeiros Voluntários da Vila da Ericeira, Bombeiros Voluntários de Mafra and Bombeiros Voluntários da Malveira for their daily work protecting residents and territory.
Mayor Hélder Silva thanked the firefighters for their altruism and courage, noting that they continue to show the value of service to others. The municipality also reaffirmed its commitment to close cooperation with the brigades to safeguard the community.
