Mafra | New access ban to Praia do Sul
Following a technical inspection of the cliffs at Praia do Sul, the Capitania do Porto de Cascais has banned access to the beach, known locally as Baleia, due to unstable rock faces.
The inspection was carried out by the Agência Portuguesa do Ambiente together with the Serviço Municipal de Proteção Civil de Mafra. The affected areas are now clearly marked with signs. Access had already been restricted in February this year. The ban will remain in place until safety conditions are fully restored and will be lifted by official notice.
