MEO Surf League – Guilherme Ribeiro and Érica Máximo win Allianz Ericeira Pro
Guilherme Ribeiro and Érica Máximo won the Allianz Ericeira Pro at Ribeira d’Ilhas. Ribeiro defeated Arran Strong 15.75 to 11.65 points in the men’s final, while Máximo beat Lua Escudeiro 12.20 to 11.80 points in the women’s final. Both riders moved into second place in their respective national rankings.
The event also featured the Quiksilver Heritage Heat, won by João Antunes with 13.35 points. The Liga MEO Surf returns 12-14 June in the Azores for the Allianz Ribeira Grande Pro, which will decide the Allianz Triple Crown winners.
