Science and innovation in the spotlight at the Young Scientists Congress
The VI Young Scientists Congress of Mafra filled the auditorium at Escola Secundária José Saramago with 158 students from local schools. Under the theme "Inspirar mentes. Transformar futuros", participants presented 23 projects covering primary through secondary levels.
Workshops on air rockets, paper circuits, cyanotype, basic life support and laboratory chemistry were held alongside the panel "Jovens Cientistas de Mafra no Mundo". The Municipality of Mafra organised the event to promote science education and innovation among young residents.
