Surf | Ribeira d’Ilhas hosts the 2nd edition of Sumol Local Legends
Ribeira d’Ilhas hosted the second edition of Sumol Local Legends last weekend, Portugal’s largest team surfing championship.
Forty athletes competed in eight teams representing Costa da Caparica, Ericeira, Cascais, Praia Grande, Porto, Algarve, Peniche and Santa Cruz. Costa da Caparica defended its title, taking first place and €6,000 in prize money. Mafalda Lopes scored the event’s best wave (7.83).
