Ericeira | Stabilization work advances on the cliff at Praia do Sul
Stabilization work on the dynamic barrier protecting the cliff at Praia do Sul in Ericeira began yesterday after materials, some imported, arrived. The project, coordinated with the Agência Portuguesa do Ambiente (APA), is expected to last about two weeks.
The repairs aim to strengthen user safety and lift current restrictions near the barrier, damaged by rockfalls last winter. Praia do Sul remains open with normal access; only the already restricted zone stays closed.
