"Julieta e Romeu" in Ericeira: this time it's for laughs
MELECA Núcleo Profissional de Teatro will stage a comic version of Shakespeare's "Julieta & Romeu" at Casa de Cultura Jaime Lobo e Silva in Ericeira on 6 and 7 November at 21:30. The production keeps the original story of the two young lovers but presents it through the eyes of two clowns, mixing romance with humour.
Directed by Fernando Terra, who also performs alongside Filipe Palhais, the show runs for two nights. Tickets cost €10 and can be reserved by calling 96 536 76 18 or emailing [email protected].
