Liga MEO Surf – Call at 8am on Friday for the Allianz Ericeira Pro
The Liga MEO Surf Allianz Ericeira Pro begins Friday at 8am with a call at Praia de Ribeira d’Ilhas. Trials for men open the event, followed by Round 1 for men and women. Francisco Ordonhas and Maria Salgado, leaders of the 2026 rankings, will wear the yellow Go Chill jerseys.
West swell is forecast for the three-day contest, a favourable direction for the right-hand point. The event marks the 17th consecutive year the national tour has visited Ribeira d’Ilhas. Local surfers Tomás Fernandes and Lua Escudeiro are among the competitors.
