Ribeira d’Ilhas to host the final European stop of the Olas Pro Tour
Ribeira d’Ilhas will host the Europe Final Meeting of the Olas Pro Tour from 23 to 25 October. The junior surf contest brings athletes from eight Latin American countries plus Portugal, Spain and France to compete in Sub-10, Sub-12, Sub-14, Sub-16 and Sub-18 divisions. The event is organised by the Câmara Municipal de Mafra, Ericeira Surf Clube, World Surf Cities Network and Olas Pro Tour, with support from Ericeira Camping, Billabong, 58 Surf, Ericeira Surf & Skate, Native Açaí, Junta de Freguesia da Ericeira and the Federação Portuguesa de Surf.
Registration closes at 23:59 on 21 October. Entry costs €25 for Ericeira Surf Clube members and €30 for non-members. Outside the water, participants will visit 58 Surf, the Centro de Interpretação da Reserva Mundial de Surf and attend a special Save The Waves Film Festival screening.
