Seven concelho beaches distinguished with “Gold Quality”
Seven beaches in the concelho have received the Gold Quality distinction from Quercus. Six of the beaches belong to the Ericeira World Surfing Reserve.
The award is based on water-quality tests carried out by the Administrações Regionais Hidrográficas. It recognises the excellence of bathing water and the municipality’s commitment to environmental preservation, bathing safety and sustainable territory management.
