Theater and dance: the best of Latin America arrives in Mafra and Ericeira
Two Latin American productions will bring theatre and dance to Mafra and Ericeira this month. A dramatic comedy based on the work of Osvaldo Dragún will be staged in Ericeira on 18 September at 19:00 in Praça da República and in Mafra on 19 September at 16:00 in the same square. A visual spectacle combining dance and theatre inspired by Latin American masks and popular festivals will take place in Mafra on 26 September at 21:30 in the Auditório Municipal Beatriz Costa.
Tickets cost 3 euros for residents and under-23s and 5 euros for the general public. They are available at the tourist offices in Mafra and Ericeira, at Casa de Cultura Jaime Lobo e Silva in Ericeira and on www.ticketline.pt. The shows form part of the Todos São Palco project, which brings international artists to Portugal.
