Wave of smiles and sea stories bring life to the Ericeira Market
About 110 first-grade pupils from EB1 da Ericeira visited the Mercado Municipal da Ericeira. The children walked to the market, listened to the story “O dia em que o Mar desapareceu” by José Fanha, and then met the stallholders.
The visit combined environmental education, reading and support for local commerce. Organisers hope the event will encourage families to return to the traditional market.
