WSL Challenger Series at Ericeira's doorstep
The EDP Ericeira Pro 2026, presented by Xacobeo, will bring international surfers to Ribeira D’Ilhas beach from 6 to 12 October. The event is the fourth stop on the WSL Challenger Series, the top qualifying circuit for the 2027 Championship Tour.
Eighty men and 48 women will compete for the final ranking spots that secure a place on next year’s Championship Tour. Confirmed international athletes include Crosby Colapinto, Mateus Herdy, Tya Zebrowski and Alyssa Spencer. Six Portuguese surfers will also compete: Francisca Veselko, Teresa Bonvalot, Maria Salgado, Guilherme Ribeiro, Frederico Morais and Jaime Veselko. The contest will be streamed live on WSL platforms.
