Ericeira | Largo de São Sebastião hosts the Garlic Fair this weekend
The Garlic Fair returns to Largo de São Sebastião in Ericeira on 25 and 26 July. The event traces its origins to a royal charter issued in 1673 and is held each year on the feast of São Tiago.
Local producers from nearby areas gather to sell garlic, melons, bread and cakes. The fair once featured a wide range of goods and amusements but now focuses on these traditional items.
