Ericeira to debate the future of the town in the face of rising sea levels
Ericeira will host a public debate on coastal urbanisation and rising sea levels on 17 October at the Auditório Municipal de Santa Marta. The ICEA event runs from 15:00 to 18:00 and features two geographers from the Universidade de Lisboa. Ana Ramos Pereira will discuss the challenges coastal cities face from sea-level rise, followed by Luís Gonçalves Mendes on the pressures of tourism and urban development.
