Mafra invests 5.5 million euros in school expansions in Ericeira and Malveira
Mafra is investing 5.5 million euros in expansions at two schools, António Bento Franco in Ericeira and Prof. Armando de Lucena in Malveira. The works, funded by the Plano de Recuperação e Resiliência, will add 21 classrooms, seven laboratories and new recreational and sports areas between 2025 and 2026.
António Bento Franco, which serves 1,111 students, gains 13 classrooms, three laboratories, two ICT rooms and a visual-arts room. Prof. Armando de Lucena, with 941 students, receives eight classrooms, four laboratories and upgraded sports facilities. Both projects include new accessibility features and full equipment for the new labs.
