Surf | Ericeira Surf Clube athletes called up to the National Junior Team
The Portuguese Surfing Federation has announced the junior national team that will represent Portugal at the Eurosurf Junior and the ISA World Junior Surfing Championship 2026.
Two athletes from Ericeira Surf Clube were selected: Martinho Barros in the Sub-16 Male category and Mariana Pereira in the Sub-18 Female category. National coach Sebastián Furtado said the team has more experience and better preparation than last year and aims to keep or improve on the 9th place achieved at the last ISA World Junior Championship while targeting a top-3 finish at Eurosurf Junior.
