The Life of Arran Strong will be celebrated on Saturday
A paddle-out tribute to Arran Strong will take place at Ribeira d’Ilhas beach on Saturday, 1 August, at 12:00.
The 27-year-old Ericeira Surf Club member disappeared on 27 July while accompanying José Maria Pyrrait on a stand-up paddle crossing off Arrifana. Official searches ended that evening without locating him. The event, organised by José Maria Pyrrait and his son Henrique “Neco” Pyrrait, invites the community to form a circle offshore in his memory.
