The living history of our fishing community documented in a book
Jagozes — Continuidade e Resistência, a photographic book by Nuno Rocha and Pedro dos Reis, was presented at Casa de Cultura Jaime Lobo e Silva. The work documents the daily life of Ericeira’s fishing community over 18 months.
Published by Câmara Municipal de Mafra with support from the European programme Mar 2030, the book records the port’s routines, faces and traditions. It serves as a documentary record of a historic activity that continues to shape the area.
