Education, territory and sustainable tourism valued in Council Meeting decisions
Mafra Council approved the loan of sports facilities from Atlético Clube da Malveira and Grupo Desportivo União Ericeirense to support physical-education classes at Escola Básica e Secundária Prof. Armando de Lucena and Escola Básica e Secundária António Bento Franco.
The council also extended the deadline for a waste-collection tender, opened a €1-million bid to refurbish the town-hall basement, restarted the Cheleiros-Carvalhal urban-rehabilitation plan, and advanced two tourism-development plans in Santo Isidoro: Casal do Muxarro and Casal da Junceira.
