"The Unknown" returns to Ericeira 100 years later
The 1926 silent film “O Desconhecido”, shot in Ericeira in 15 days, returns to the town on 26 September at 15:00. The ICEA – Instituto de Cultura Europeia e Atlântica hosts the first public screening of the newly digitised copy at the Auditório da Casa de Cultura Jaime Lobo e Silva.
Pedro Crisóstomo will introduce the event, followed by Tiago Baptista, Director of ANIM/Cinemateca, presenting the film. The session ends with an open discussion. Entry is free but limited to 174 seats; teachers may register the three-hour session as a short training course.
