Discovering marine biodiversity in Ericeira
Ribeira d'Ilhas beach hosted another edition of the environmental education activity "Visita às Poças Entremarés". Under the theme "À descoberta da vida nas poças do litoral", participants of all ages explored tide pools and learned about marine life.
The group observed algae, small crustaceans, molluscs and fish, gaining insight into the complexity and fragility of these coastal ecosystems. The event also highlighted the importance of protecting the natural heritage and shoreline of the Concelho de Mafra.
