More proximity, health and social support: new measures approved at Council Meeting
The Câmara Municipal held a decentralized meeting at the Salão Paroquial de Santo Isidoro. Councilors approved a collaboration protocol with the Associação Protetora dos Diabéticos de Portugal and the Irmandade da Santa Casa da Misericórdia da Vila da Ericeira to improve diabetic care and train informal caregivers.
Financial support was granted to APERCIM for the Férias (Cri)Ativas+ program and to local clubs for cultural and sports activities. The council also requested temporary rent exemption for the Praia do Algodio beach facility during cliff stabilization works and ratified the Territórios Resilientes contract for repairs at Praia do Sul. Deadlines were extended for municipal housing in Ericeira and Encarnação, and for works at Palácio Nacional de Mafra and Largo de S. Miguel.
